Puncture resistance bandage for dogs with Turbocast

Description

Thermofix orthoses for dogs

This newly developed pastern brace for dogs uses low-temperature thermoplastic from orthopedics to treat pastern dermatitis of the foreleg.

Turbocast softens at temperatures of approximately 70-80 degrees Celsius and is then placed around the dog's wrist and carefully molded. It then hardens and retains its shape. This ensures the material is 100% precisely fitted to your dog's front leg. It can also be optimally shaped around the dewclaw area , preventing pressure points despite the secure fixation.

These types of bandages are often used in orthopedics to treat injuries, relieve pain, or promote recovery. This orthosis can be used in cases of severe carpal joint dysfunction in your dog. It ensures 100% joint immobilization.

For milder hyperextension, the premium bandage with aluminum stays can be used as an alternative.

Please watch the video for instructions. Do not stretch the thermoplastic lengthwise or widthwise, otherwise it will no longer fit in the back pocket. If it is too wide, you can cut off the excess material with sharp scissors.

Please contact your veterinarian before ordering and discuss whether such a bandage is suitable for your dog.

The Thermofix bandage for dogs cannot be returned after the Turbocast material has become deformed.

Available in four standard sizes:

S = 7-10 cm circumference, 11 cm height
M = 10-13 cm circumference, 13 cm height
L = 13-15 cm circumference, 15 cm height
XL = 15-17 cm circumference, 17 cm height

Of course, we also offer custom-made products.
